Balladur did it 20 years before him - and was roasted all over the press for it. A ton of French execs today, particularly from X or Centrale, love to go red to showcase their fun-loving personality.

The Chouan has a good article (edit - a second, funnier one) about Fillon's lack of inspiration in his systematic attempt at building his image, like the guy who topped your class in high school going through a checklist methodically. In many ways - not just the hair - he reminds me of Romney. In the current batch, Cazeneuve is more inspired, if a lot less Parisian.

Neither are orphans. It's just a blue coat with light blue chinos. Luxire just sent them. They're kind of out of season but they just came last week so I threw them on. They're actually pretty light blue but my picture-taking skills are still wanting.

1) The glasses actually isn't that bad. It's the thick lenses that make it looks worse.

2) Nothing wrong with using different colors. Better than the boring corp outfit. Probably need alterations.

3) Shirt sleeves need to be hemmed.
