My urologist asked me to pick-up my scan from another hospital and they gave it to me on a cd-rom. I figured it would just be some static images or something but it loads with software and you can get all different views. if you look at yourself vertically you can scan through all the layers of your body that were visible in the scan. I can also do measurements of all 10 kidney stones! I'm so copying the cd before handing it over to my doc :p

Just thought it was really neat.

Yes, I have. No, it isn't. Then again, I've seen too many of them, mainly family, where things were very wrong. So, it's probably a head thing.

You have to make an animated gif of the scan from head to toe, and then use it as your avatar. That would own.

I haven't seen a ct scan of myself, but once they put a camera up my bum, and I saw the live footage. The doctor offered me the choice of lying on my left so that I couldn't see the display monitor, or on my right, so that I could. Naturally, I chose the latter, so I got to see my own prostate in glorious technicolour. It was pretty cool.

If you are talking about a colonoscopy, I don't remember it as being "pretty cool", though it wasn't too bad.

But Colonoscopys save lives. The young people on this Forum won't care about them much. But 2 friends of mine, had colonoscopies when they were 50 and discovered malignant polyps. They were removed and probably prevented a progression to colon cancer.
