Yes, it really helps. I go to a new health food store started by the son of the founder of costco. popular in seattle. http://www.healeo.com/ Spirulina is a blue-green algae that thrives in warm, alkaline fresh-water. It’s one of the cleanest, most naturally sterile foods found in nature. This tiny aquatic plant has been eaten by humans since prehistoric times, and has now earned the modern-day status of Superfood. Imagine a vegetable with more protein than soy, more Vitamin A than carrots, more iron than beef, and tons of phytochemicals, that’s also easy to digest. That’s Spirulina. It’s said to have been one of the main food sources of the Aztecs until the 16th century. It’s loaded with vitamins, minerals and the essential ***** acid GLA. Add Spirulina to your favorite Healeo drink and up your daily nutrient count.

IMO, it's a waste. Spirulina is the best thing you can take, but these green drink blends only have a very small amount. (usually 1 gram or less per serving)

Far better to just buy Spirulina itself and take it. Spirulina has more chlorophyll, more nutrition, etc. than wheatgrass, alfalfa, or any other land based plant. So why spend all that money on those "fillers" when you can just buy yourself a jug of spirulina and/or chlorella for the same price, or oftentimes cheaper.

edit: Nutsonline.com has both spirulina and maca powders for 10 bucks a pound. You'll be far better off taking both of those, and would be way cheaper for ya.

Heh, if you put spirulina in a protein shake, you are going to gag. Not the best tasting stuff on Earth. Far better to put in a small 8oz shaker bottle with apple juice and down that ****.

feel better i think the initial shock of healthy food was a bit much. going to drink some coffee, which probably isn't good. feel more energetic but it might be a placebo effect.

I take 10+ grams per day. Just start off small and build your dosage over time. Your body just isn't used to the massive amounts of chlorophyll you are putting in it. May make you **** yourself. But yeah, the energy you are feeling is quite real, which is why I love this stuff and swear by it.
