Some advice
Please see attached picture. Love G&G.
The are fantastic. My question relates the the complete closure of the shoe with the laces. In addition there is some reduntant leather even with the laces completely tight.
The shoes overall is very comfortable but not "snug"
They are an 8.5E
Should i be looking at a narrower width shoe??

You may need narrower shoes or even shorter shoes. However, my impression is that this last is simply wrong for your feet. You will not know that for sure until you wear those shoes for a while.

Thanks for helping
length is good. any shorter would definitely be too short.
The shoes are good, very good. But seem to have a little too much volume. They do seem to have redundancy in the amount of leather across the vamp.

MH71 is a little more classic IMO, and is my go to. TG73 is a beautiful last, but that square toe isn’t for everyone. I have a few in TG73, but tend to like this last for most stylish, less classic shoes.

Great color. How do these shoes compare to other makers you have worn?

It’s a question of aesthetics. I love the sleek elongated profile on most GG lasts. The shoes are absolutely beautiful ... English shoes built with an Italian flair and maybe a notch above StC in my view as well.
