I have one pair with the legendary boot trees, and one without. I empathize with anyone that struggles to get a regular GG tree properly in their boots... :(

I should have a pair of Walktons waiting for me at home today and a pair of Oakhams soon enough. As usual, Nick is the best.

I don´t think he will. Bespoke England sold boot trees under the store name but had to stop with this because of the reason Dean told you...only for bespoke.

I have two pair of boot trees that i luckily got before B-E stopped selling them.

FYI I've been quoted 1k GBP for tall bespoke 3 piece shoe trees from a new tree maker. Their regular tree maker only does trees up to ankle height.

If you have UK8E you can buy mine for 900 GBP...I´ll even include shipping in the price :D

I think he is talking about tall boot trees, these would be trees to fill equestrian boots. They should be expensive but 1k GBP is indeed a steep price I can only imagine how much were actual boots.

Mine are not the really tall equestrian boots but a little taller than regular boot height. The tree price is comparable to JLSJ. The JLSJ long boot trees, presumably for the equestrian boot, is 1700+ GBP.

Hi all, I am hoping to get some advices. I bought the Canterbury a little over a month ago from Leatherfoot in Toronto. I just realized that the seam in my left boot shaft is torn. It looks like the seam is just to connect the lining. However, I am wondering if this will be a problem down the road. Am I worrying too much or should I take it back to the store or to a cobbler?

We share the same commute! Have you considered adding toe caps on top of the Topys? Also, have you found a good cobbler in the city?

And speaking of commutes, witnessed a shoving match at Union station today.

LOL - it wasn't me I swear! I only shove people who step on my suede shoes. :)

Have not tried the Topy / toe tap combo as I find the Topy more or less solves the toe roll problem so long as you put them on straight away.

I use the cobbler in College Park. His Topy installations are perfect and same day service as well.
