But really, what new sneakers are out there that can be considered good that are easily attainable? It's not like Fujiwaras can be purchased from the local Saks or Nordstrom. Lanvin tries to do something a bit different and new and it gets hated on for the older ones. Everything else is pretty much just a rehash of the older designs, Margielas new hi-tops looks good but outside of that, there really isn't anything new that is very interesting.

It's good that fujiwaras aren't readily available. I think kunk is more upset with people who just walk into saks/barneys and buy the most expensive things. There is no research involved, no appreciation for how the items were made etc.
That being said, outside of the forumites it's not like margiela is overplayed. Nobody I know knows anything about what/who I wear.

Not that I go to these places to buy the most expensive things, but you can't buy the things you like anymore? I visit the aforementioned stores on my days off and if something catches my eyes, I buy it.

I don't really get that sense of feeling in here. Heck outside of myself, I don't think anyone has posted any other brands other than the usual CP, Lanvin, MMM, Raf, etc... So I wouldn't it is just about buying what is expensive in the store or else we'll see a lot more Gucci, Prada, LV, etc...

Yes ol' elite one, sorry I don't do the research of the designer prior to the purchase so I can take the cashier to school.

I have no idea what his style is like and if it's good or bad, but are you really trying to say people can't have good style without the "enlightenment" of spending a few years on a fashion forum?
