That these are wonderful classic designs but the market is getting overcrowded, but if the first impression I get when I see these shoes is another shoe brand, not a good sign.

Hopefully overtime, Cavour shoes will distinguish themselves, but to be fair when I first saw Lof & Tung, I did think Carmina

Its bugging me, just gonna come out and say it, at first glance these have an uncanny resemblance to Lof & Tung shoes....T last and S Last, so I do question having this offering, feels this price segment is becoming more and more crowded everyday.
I do like the minimal clean sole finish, and looks like a quality shoe nonetheless, but feels more could be done to differential from other competitors in this price segment.

There is so much to unpack here. So I will focus on one thing, “originality”:

L&T: Skoak have struck gold by taking iconic models from household shoemakers (Green, Bonafè, et al.), and remake them at affordable prices.

For instance, Edward Green’s Galway:
Carlos Santos, and now “Albacete Industrial” have made downmarket version for them. Is it a bad thing? Only if you are a purist, do you only buy shoes from houses founded in the 1800s?

Some manufacturers refuse to “remix” shoes , but for most private label makers this is their bread and butter.

Most shoes made in proximity to each other share a DNA, either at regional level (Mallorcan toe bump) or at a in-house level (topline stitching, seams and edge finishing).

I concede on all points, originality can only get you so far.
I am guilty of buying Skoak's Carlos Santos Field boot Galway clone in the past, so I will now quietly commit ritual disembowelment as I have offended the purist gods

@kevinsvindland Kevin, would you mind providing details on your dress shirts? Any IRL pics also I cant see them on the site, will their be a restock of the staple colours (plain blue etc)

Hi Ricky,

Our dress shirts are mostly 120/2 and 140/2 fabrics from Thomas Mason. MOP buttons, medium thickness in collar and cuff.
Is there any particular details you want to know?

There will be no updates to the current site. But the new one will launch by the end of May.

Blue and white basics are fully stocked in store, and will also be available once the new site launches.
