Hey Kevin,

FYI that the banner on your Finnish-language site is advertising the cyber15 promo.

Hmmm.. Could it be a browser cache thing perhaps? As far as I can see it just says thet 50% sale is on. Will ask the man in charge to look at it. Anyway, 50% off is surely better that 30% with additional 15%. :)

Are the Plain Toe Blucher - Grain Leather and Chukka Boot - Grain Leather both Utah leather? @kevinsvindland Do you have some more information about your lasts? How do these fit? I have wider feet.

They are both a pebble grain leather, where as the utah is more of an oily hatch grain.

Here you can see the differnt textures side by side.

As for the lasts;

The Soft Chisel has a chiseled toe and a generous instep. Similar to the Rain last from Carmina.
(probably the best one of our lasts for a wider foot..)

The Almond lasts have a standard instep and an almond shaped toe. Similar to the 82 last from EG. (1 is for lace up shoes, 2 is the loafer equivalent)

The Country last is similar to the Almond, only the toe is a little rounder. We use it mainly for boots and derbies.

Hope that helps.

Got my Mod 2 in the mail. The finish and overall quality feels amazing! Just trying to decide on fit. What do y'all think? Obviously sleeves are too long (easy fix) and it's probably a bit too short (much less easy fix) but are there any other signs I went too big/too small or should have it tailored?

btw, I'd say that compared to my US 38 Suitsupply Havana jacket this EU 48 is a bit roomier overall but also a teensy bit shorter
Just wanna re-up this to see if anyone has any thoughts, since I'm nearing the end of the return window. The back is pretty messy, but I'm wondering if it might just be because the vents are closed? Or do y'all think it's too small?

I think it looks pretty good. Back needs to be cleaned up a bit, but length is perfect.

Received my recent haul including the Sportivo 2 parka.

Beautiful coat but was disappointed with the pocket lining. For a parka at that price point, I would've expected wool or cashmere lining. It's a small detail but given that my hands are in my pocket most of the time when outside, it really is unpleasantly noticeable compared to my other coats/parkas.

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the pocket lining?

Never posted this here but been wearing these Cavour Suede Field Boots quite a bit this season.

Look at how thick the suede is versus mink Galways

My only issue was the laces were a bit thin to my liking but quickly replaced them.

Agree with @bootyboy that last is nice - being round it gives some casual / unformal feeling to a pair of derby boots. These boots go with pretty much anything in casual wardrobe. Thanks to @kevinsvindland

As a truly Cavour fanboy (4 pieces of footwear, suit and much more...) I may suppose some makeups for FW '21.

1) I really liked CJ Pembroke collab with CoC. This combo of rough leather and vibram lug sole is awesome. Unfortunately my size was gone too fast...

So I bet on Cavour brogues with Vibram lug soles. Dark brown grain / brown (waxy?) suede.
Very practical sole option compared to Dainite - more comfort and grip plus mud kept away from upper thanks to sole thickness.

Even better with these Vi - lite soles , light weight and cushion:

2. Punched cap toe boots built on country last. Brown grain / black smooth / brown suede.
Here it is an example from Sanders:

Example from Loake

What about Ridgeway soles?

Question about Mod 2 suits:

So from the pictures on the website, it seems like almost every shot of the model wearing the Mod 2 suit shows massive divots / warping of fabric on the arm sleeves at resting position. I don't know how to better describe this, but if you look at the photos of the models wearing the blazers Mod 2, these divots / fabric warping are not there. I noticed that Mod 2 blazers have hand attached arm sleeves whereas Mod 2 Suits don't have this detail (I assume that means it's all made by machine).

Anyone here who has purchased Mod 2 suit have this issue or is this just a problem of the model's posture?

If the coat had pockets designed to be «hand warmers» like say the chest pockets on a woolrich arctic parka. Then we would have put some kind of warmer lining fabric inside.
These are simply designed to keep stuff in them.
You could probably have someone change the pocket linings, but I would advice to be careful with keys or similar items in that case.

The construction of mod 2 suits and blazers is exactly the same. With the same level of handmade details.

The only possible difference is in the fabric. Most jackets this season are heavier than suits, which makes them wear slightly different.
