If I wear a half size, should I go for a smaller size in shoe trees? 10.5 UK -> 10 UK shoe trees?

I'm honestly not sure re shoe tree size, but I tend to go up a half size, as a shoe tree that does not fit snugly is not much use at all in helping the shoe keep its shape.

Same size as shoes, ever. Or go down half size, in my opinion. I am 8,5 uk size and I have all my shoe trees in 8 uk size

Carmina replied and recommended that I take 10 UK for the shoe trees.

Short answer: yes.

Medium answer: assuming you are talking the 65 last on AE, 11UK in Oscar will have a bit more room in the toe box and a slightly higher instep, but will be similar, and likely not enough to change sizes. If it’s a boot, 11UK is very likely to work.

Just ordered the black hatch workboots too but with the Silver (Dainite) soles, i assume it'll look like these brown hatch cordovans from C&J (except in black and without speedhooks), very excited! Thanks for setting this MTO up @LA Guy and @Carmina
