My latest pair from the MTO weekend. On the Llubi last. Thankfully they work very well with jeans as it's all I wear these days...

Nice last, but, as usual, quite a big heel cup.

It's either Karagrein or Elbamat. Ordered the former by mistake and tried to amend the order, but never got confirmation on if it was ultimately possible. I think they're elbamat, the leather is soft and a bit greasy, and will serve its casual purpose well.

I think the elbamat is thicker and more matte than the karangrein.

How does the other parts of the LLubi last compare to other Carmina lasts in your opionion?

That's Elbamat.
I have boots made in it.

I find it rather similar to the Detroit last but with more space for the toes.

I really like it for a rather casual model, already thinking of a jumper boot in the lighter shade next.

I take a UK 11 in Detroit (oxford) /Llubi (derby) / Rain (derby).

Just got my MTO. I didn’t know if I would actually like the blue shell. I was right I didn’t like it......I love it, do yourself a favor and get some blue shell.

Must admit , blue is an underrated colour for shoes. I love my blue suede shoes. Would even consider a blue grain leather if @Carmina offered it.

What do you wear them with? I had blue suede loafers that I wore with khaki chinos and shorts...
