mymil, I've seen my fair share of balmoral boots. This Carmina model, along with EG's similar one, is my all-time favourite. Wear them in good health!

I stopped by Skoaktiebolaget today and talked to Adam and tried Oscar last and some G&G, met Leaves too. Great store and excellent service but that was no surprise since i´ve got the same service with email with the MTO.

Some sizing info.
I have a boot in the RAIN last 7.5UK and decided to go with the same size in Oscar.
BUT, Oscar fits more snugg and i think i could go with a 7UK in rain in the future since the RAIN boot is in suede and have streched a bit. Oscar is lower in the insteap but that should not be a problem for most since i have a very high insteap.

How do you find the width of the Oscar compared to the Rain in the same size?

The above just arrived from Skoaktiebolaget the on Saturday. Adam helped me out with all my questions about fit and was very helpful. These are on the Robert last with a full Dainite sole. My first dress boot, first dainite sole and first pair of Carmina's. Definitely very happy with the last, its an excellent fit. I have a narrow to medium foot and the Robert last fits well without being too loose and giving plenty of toe room. Very happy with Carmina quality, and the Dainite sole is a treat. Feels very durable and will be perfect this winter.

Oh and first class service from Skoaktiebolaget. Will continue to do biz with them in the future.

Some had trouble viewing my pictures and requested that I repost. I am doing so as an attachment now. Hopefully this works.

Beautiful boots, pats. I (along with a few others) am disappointed about missing out on the first stock of those, so you'd better enjoy the hell out of them.

Ah, that I can understand. I'll have my first Carmina boots coming in from Epaulet hopefully within a week, and god knows that the last three months of waiting have been hell.
