Car may be down and out after 220K miles. I'm waiting on the final verdict. I was hoping for another year out of the old girl for Jeep to release the new Grand Wagoneer or GMC to get the Yukon XL AT4 done. Not sure I can put a new engine in an old truck...

Snuff Dundees were the easy decision today. :)

My allergies are kicking up today. That means WFH today. Basically if I show up to work and I sneeze, I get 21 days off. So I am staying home until I get the results of a COVID-19 test.

Beignets and live jazz in swelterin heat at Cafe Du Monde. If anything is quintessential New Orleans.....

Bonus points in the form of finding a major landmark tavern from red dead redemption 2.

Allen Edmonds “Weymouth” Circa Early 1960s. The Weymouth was made on the Newport Last which features a beautiful almond shaped toe which accents the spade soles perfectly.

Put a lower mileage engine from a salvage in an old truck over a new engine.

Haha I love the new Bronco, but I'm not exactly a midsize guy. The one I'd really like to get is the Heritage Edition LandCruiser, but you can't get it without a sunroof and I can't give up that headspace. Full size for me.

Honestly I've asked my shop to price out what @madhat recommended and see what a low mileage used engine would cost compared to the almost $9K a new engine would cost. It's an old Yukon XL, and even with a new engine would be worth less than half that. I've seen you guys talk about cars, I've done it wrong. My wife just got a new Ram 1500 Limited, and I'm talking about a used engine in a beat up truck. It's worth it though as long as I can keep the motorcycle...

Ashton today, on my favorite 678 last.

That last looks like a good for you!

Don't ever apologize for driving an old truck! Spend your money on things you care about, but make sure you've got reliable transportation. ;D old truck still more enviro friendly than crushing one every two years for a new one!
I've had $500 beaters that have gotten engine swaps. Definitely works.
