Thanks all, shoes have been good to me so far.

I saw that Gianni. We both needed a little cheering up yesterday

great shine. My pair should be coming when those lasted shoe trees are available with AFPOS. Is this the true color? Looks lighter than I had thought.

How would one describe the fit of the 109 last as compared to say the 104, or the Carmina forest last?

My Blake MTOs on their maiden voyage.

Almost 10 months later, throat/lacing gap closed!!!

As someone who only has one pair of AS-E, I have to comment that they are absolutely a great value for money. I know it's been said that the leather used for G&Gs is better, perhaps, but double the price better?

Even I don't think I would go that far. If it was easy to pick up ASs in the G width I would probably consider it more seriously. I'm not sure their HG MTO prices (if they're even doing it right now) is as competitive.

Nice, I haven't seen much info on AS MTO. How much is the MTO charge for AS and where did you get it done? AS seems to have a limited range from what I can see.

edit: Just saw the AFPOS AS MTO thread... Last post was like half a year ago. Did this service die?
