This writer Virginia Postrel (who has written for the New York Times and a bunch of other places) is interviewed about a book she wrote about textiles as technology, textiles as culture, textiles that prompted the growth of modern management techniques to run mills to process silk in 14th Century Italy, how the type of cotton we use only exists because of a freak cross pollination between continents and is the only one of 54 types that has fibres in it... the podcast is packed with fascinating stuff.

This is useful to me as well, thanks. What size do you wear in WL, if I may ask?

I’ve got a 42 chest, 36 waist, and am 5’9”.
Large in most knitwear including WL. Large in IM. I have a couple trad fit j press shaggy dogs in medium that fit ok, but jpress trim fit in large fits me better. I wear medium in S&C cardigans, sized up to 54 in Doppiaa turtleneck recently acquired, hope this helps.

Hard for me to choose a favorite, as I've loved everything I've gotten this season.

I would highlight the document smock with its ridiculously soft fleece and awesome oversized fit.

Byborre is a guilty pleasure, and the color and feel of the merino in the overshirt was a revelation compared to the other pieces I have from them:

Honorable mention to the Chamula fisherman sweater: beautiful color and, again, so soft. Thinking of getting a cowichan from them, but prefer a solid color.
