That powder blue jacket is the most foreign looking thing I've ever seen. That must be some sort of regional look.

Sorry, iammatt, I obviously misread your original sentence. It's not like those guys all look alike.

Tony "Big Tuna" Accardo, arguably the most successful American Mafioso. Started as a bodyguard, at twenty years old, for Al Capone; ended up controlling Las Vegas. In his eighty six years he spent just one night in jail and died peacefully in his sleep.

Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegal was known to be a flashy well dressed mobster.

Warren Beatty did a nice job playing him in the movie.

True, but for the most part the movie was chock full of errors. Specially with regards to Virginia Hill, who wasn't as "nice" as Mrs. Beatty played her out to be. This one, on the other hand...

Interesting pics... The Italian versions are garbed in Neapolitan stye (more truthful to their heritage?), whilst the Americans lean more towards the Roman school... why is that?

Nowadays, the street level camorra are in jeans

Good question. Maybe it is due to hollywood production.

I find the American fetishization of the mafia somewhat tiresome, truth be told.

That is actually why I posted the pics. I came across the Italian version and found it interesting how different the "artistic" vision of the mafioso was.
