Manton,

Should the sleeves be lengthened a hair? I can see shirt cuff.

Lovely looking overcoat

Inspiring and elegant, I'm getting ideas, liking how drapey it is over your suit rather than being a structure in itself.

Is the back belted? If you remember snapshots of side and back would be appreciated.

No belt.

It's pretty full cut. Plenty of room for the suit. Not very structured but the cloth is 700g so it hangs well.

That's a frock coat, not an overcoat. Rather different.

Trouble is that that it's like posting about somebody's peacoat and saying "x had a coat just like that" and posting a guy in a DB tuxedo. Yes, there are some surface similarities, but the garments are nothing alike. Lincoln's favorite overcoat was given to him as a gift by Brooks Brothers, made out of an ultrafine wool, was single breasted. It's also the same one he wore to Ford's theater that there have been debates over the display of. But as he favored black suits, SF is free to ignore examples he might have set.

An outstanding coat!. Elegant but not close fitting like so much that is shown RTW.
As a practical matter, a looser fitting coat is usually warmer
