That's a very nice overcoat Manton - glad to see you went bespoke on this. I wish the wrap were a big narrower though.

    What's the fabric?

Looks good, but from what I can tell from the photo, it has a bit too much shape.

Is your mirror the kind that sits on the ground and leans against the wall?

If so I think it is the cause of the extra lankyness.

I don't know if it is meant to do that but that is where it is now. Some day I may hang it.

Fabric is Harrison all wool navy herringbone. The pattern seemed pretty distinct in the swatch. Made up, you really have to look for it. It's so hard to see that at the first fitting I was convinced that he had cut the wrong cloth. At the second I looked more carefully and sure enough, it was the right cloth. At least I think it is.

I wish the lapel were a bit wider but I am fine with the wrap.

SRSLY though- from what I can make out looks interesting enough.

Thanks. I do like the leaner cut - mine are similar. I assume you have your suit jacket on underneath?

    Exactly as tall as Lincoln.

Perhaps you should have gotten your coat from Brooks Brothers.

Are you saying you want me to get shot?

I like what I can see of it. I like long coats a bit waisted like that.

Pic is worse than usual. Arguably useless. Sorry, camera not cooperating today.

Nice -- I love DB overcoats.
Would like to see a better pic.
    What kind of lining?

Manton, you have good taste but I wish you'd post better photos. I'd love to see your recent solito/NSM suits and this overcoat in a better light.
