i like the JLP and the KS remix the best, i dont think much to the cleverleys, plus they dont look nearly as well finished as the mentioned 2

LC,

Very astute. They are both finished "head and shoulders" above any of the rest who I have seen. And when it comes down to fine detail inspection, KS definitely wins the day.

i am really enjoying how the pantina on the pig skin is aging - after a quick polish!

Yeah. He is by far the best shoe maker who I have come across. Besides, he is a really nice guy and easy to get along with. It is nice to deal directly with the guy who is making your shoes, rather than some someone else who passes on the info/measurements to some sweatshop artisan or pre-Madonna in some other country or area (just a bit of satirical humor). However, he does have limitations-some of the Austo-Hungarian stuff he will not do. So, if I would like something along those lines, then I would deviate, but for right now, my next several pairs will be with KS-the p rice is right, service is great, and product is phenomenal.

I like the steeper dip, and is a nice design contrast to Hidetaka Fukaya's eagle beak. I'd like to give Dimitri Gomez a go. I met him last year when I was in Paris and really like his approach to shoe making. Pity he doesn't travel.

cheers! it just goes to show that shoes that are looked after and used and polished build up a great patina - so much better than stuff like berluti does

I have posted these before. Here are my first pair of shoes made by Koji Suzuki. He is planning a trip to New York this fall, where I will have a trial fitting for my second pair.

Will,

You can post these as many times as you like, they are quite remarkable!
