These are particularly nice. I personally prefer simpler shoes for bespoke as I think they better show the skill of the maker. Not that bespoke wingtips aren't also a thing of beauty.

He does the finish himself. There is no way that a pair of shoe could look like that after being finished, just think of the amount of time the shoe-maker handles them around while working on them. Every shoe-maker in the world I know, has to polish/finish them afterwards.
Many large houses, i.e. Lobb Paris or Berluti, have people employed to just do that, it is called a "bichonneur" in french that "bichonne"s the shoes.

Sure, but the finish that is already on the leather generally remains just needs a once over to get back in shape. I'm just wondering if he has some sort of technique, or "re-finishing" process.

That would surely qualify as spectator pr0n. And I thought trees were only meant to help shoes keep their shape and absorb moisture...
