Could never get used to the idea of a uniform like some posters do, I just need more variety, get bored quickly, kinda defeats the purpose of being "fresh" etc.
I like new and fresh as much as anybody. The problem is that 99% of people wear baggy, ill fitting clothes, so baggy will never look fresh to me. A guy at my office was bragging last week that he pays only $15 for jeans at Costco which are "nice and roomy," and that har har I "probably pay five times as much" for my jeans (lol). His jeans look like he took a dump in them. I see a lot of that. I prefer a more tailored look. If you want some diversity, you can try clothes which have some drape, which is not inconsistent with slimmer fits. I posted a cardigan waywt a while back (which Kent ridiculed for 15 pages) that was slim but long in the arms and body, which gave it some drape. Chunky knits work too. But it will be a long time (maybe never) before I wear saggy butt jeans.

Jet?

As for the 'old man' debate, it's a total red herring from people who think wearing one size down in everything is on point. It's not, it looks daft. The LL Bean ranger mocs are not 'old man' they're classic looking. Big difference.

Uh...tha'ts not what a red herring is, but I agree with you, it's dumb.
