I'm at my desk right now, so I'm having a Naked Superfood Smoothie (Blue Machine flavor). I'll probably follow it up with some green tea.

Today is my first and last saturday of summer. I finished my last final exam on Monday and I begin my summer internship this coming Monday.

I am drinking cognac - Remy Martin 1738. It is the perfect mixer because it is a good quality with a good taste without being crazy expensive. But it is also good to sip, neat, in its own right.

Also, with dinner I opened some generic California white Zin. My wife and I are very new to wine, so we are tasting a bunch of different wines every week. Nothing we buy is more than $30, with the majority being around $15. Once we develop a more refined taste, we may begin to buy a higher quality.

Summer was fun...all 6 days of it.

Had a few today.

While putzing about the house and kitchen, a little lime diet Coke and 12 y/o CC Classic.

Dinner, http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=133304 with some igourmet cheese, home made bread, some charcut, and a few other tasty items.

Then, a margatini. 3 oz tequila, 3/4 oz triple sec, 1/4 oz Chombaourd, and half a lime juiced shaken and poured.

Now, Hendrick's and Vya martini with 3 jumbe blue cheese stuffed olives.

It is not a regular practice for me, but the bitterness of the blue cheese goes extremely well with gin, doesn't it?

Oh yeah. I was just saying to my wife, if we could bring to market gin soaked olives, we'd be rich

Had this at dinner last night. Pommard is drinking well now, the Du Terte is quite ready but I think we committed infanticide on the Barton.

Heh, it is happy wine. I guess I need to stop understating sometimes. I think others might post more effusively, if they were drinking the varietal example deemed the best that WS has ever tasted.
