IUT, glad to hear you're finishing up there. Nice drinks too.

So, I felt I needed a shot after dinner. So I had a couple shots of this:

Now I'm sipping pear martini with Grey Goose pear flavoured.

Dark, I'm surprised. That's one of my "go to" Scotches there.

Scotland has many of distilleries, my friend. One of my favorites is actually Balvenie 15, but since my local liquor has never carried this doublewood before, it's new to me.

I somehow forget to buy gin today, so I am having ice cold Swedish apple cider.

Just sat in the park and smoked a Graycliff. Seeing as that you're not supposed to drink in the park I had some nips of Mount Gay rum out of my flask.

My cousin paid a visit, so I got this: JD single barrel. It's very nice. Deep flavor, a bit woody, with a hint of vanilla and sweetness. I'll definitely get this again, even if I have to pay for it. [IMG]

+1 with good gin this is actually remarkably good. It doesn't go down like a gin and tonic, and you should definitely have a lime in there, but it's nice. I endorse.

I am trying a gin and apple/aroniaberry juice. My first thought was, ewwww what the fuck is that...? But I guess it works. Once you get used to it.

    My favorite martini:

    2 oz Junipero
    0.5 oz Vya Dry
1 dash Fee Bro's orange bitters
    Shaken
    2 Olives on a pick

Perfect. Vya and Junipero were made for each other.

Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier, part of their Brewmaster's Collection. I like this, a lot. It's a fruity beer, but not too fruity, and the slight hints of blackberry are very refreshing. On a related note, I've been thoroughly enjoying every beer in the Brewmaster's Collection. Highly recommended. [IMG]
