My cousin paid a visit, so I got this: JD single barrel. It's very nice. Deep flavor, a bit woody, with a hint of vanilla and sweetness. I'll definitely get this again, even if I have to pay for it.

+1 with good gin this is actually remarkably good. It doesn't go down like a gin and tonic, and you should definitely have a lime in there, but it's nice. I endorse.

I am trying a gin and apple/aroniaberry juice. My first thought was, ewwww what the **** is that...? But I guess it works. Once you get used to it.

My favorite martini:

2 oz Junipero
0.5 oz Vya Dry
1 dash Fee Bro's orange bitters
Shaken
2 Olives on a pick

Perfect. Vya and Junipero were made for each other.

Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier, part of their Brewmaster's Collection. I like this, a lot. It's a fruity beer, but not too fruity, and the slight hints of blackberry are very refreshing. On a related note, I've been thoroughly enjoying every beer in the Brewmaster's Collection. Highly recommended.
