Where should the button on a single-button blazer be? Is this too low?

It depends on your body. I prefer mine a little higher, but that one looks alright.

The picture is a little dark but you seem to be fit so the answer is "No". If you have any kind of belly the answer is "Yes".

I think it's fine design wise, perhaps not the best size/shape to drag around uni lecture theatres

Well, I'm getting it because of the size, so I don't have to carry my jacket by hand and put it in the bag. It gets troublesome fast to have the jacket on my forearm or over my shoulder, especially when I have to do shopping after classes. And there was this one time I almost lost my m-65, because I put it on a sofa at my university, and forgot to get it. I don't want to risk it.

Also, welcome to the forums.
