Further, it would be great if even he could is unable to see my messages ... though I dont think this will appeal to the mods

Wow. Who pissed you off so much that you need a "super ignore" function?

All the Appreciation spam is a bit annoying particularly as I've been using Pulse.

no one, I dont have anyone on my ignore list though I used to have 2 guys but they were banned.

My point was that seeing that a guy on ignore list has posted something defeats the purpose.

Now I am just going to say this, and if it get's me ban again then at least I will have a peace of mind knowing that at least I said what was on my mind.

I don't think there is any transparent moderation here at all.

1- How is the fact that a member with over 50 posts, with no signature and no advertisement thread what so ever just get bans indefinitely without as much as a warning of any kind or an opportunity to explain just because a mod thinks he should be ban? How is that transparent? Or maybe at SF the mods here have a different definition for the word transparent.

2- How is that any transparent when a mod can unilaterally decides that you should be ban without even hearing from you or sending a PM?

I get it that this is a private forum and I may not contribute to the cost of running the forum and so on, but I do spend my time and energy here, so excuse me to say this but I don't thing a mod gets the right to just ban a member just like that. No matter what he justify the barning on. And seriously how do a member who have been a member for about three weeks just suddenly gets barn for spamming?

What is spamming because if we should really take the word by it's definition then half the members of this forum should be ban including even some mods.

I really need somebody to tell me base on what criteria does somebody just gets ban indefinitely for spamming without a single warning and how is that transparent?

Don't you have anything better to do than to request that other members be removed?

How is a member a problem to you in particularly so much so that you have to request that he be removed?

What is your gain when a member is removed?

And what gives you the right to make that request?

If you feel a member has an offensive or spammy post, isn't there an option that reports that post to the mods? Why don't you just use it like anyone else?

Transparent moderation eh!!

Well I hope to see how transparent the moderation here is since I am pretty new here and already my welcome message is about a member whining about the moderation.

Good bless America, God bless Style Forum.

Edit: Let transparency ruin

oh, gee, now that another noob came out of nowhere in support, this complaint seems much more justified now.

If the preponderance of a member's post history seems to be non-insightful or very generic, and the member has URLs in his signature, it is likely he will be banned for spamming. I'm not sure who you are referring to, because you didn't say, but that is probably what happened.

Quick procedural question: If a member is banned, are they removed from the Members List. Would make sense, but just wondering?
