Indochino suits?

I have come across that website too, big Indochino rip-off I'd say - some of the text on there (FAQ, some other parts) even seem to just copy pasted... I was actually contacted by one of the owners some months ago and he asked me for feedback. Never came around to reply to him, but it doesn't convince me. Website looks like from a cheap department store and there is nothing new about it that would make me give them a try. Return policy is not that simple either, as far as I remember.

There are a couple of companies now that smell easy money but will disappear very quickly. Imho this is one of those. However, whatever makes you happy, I guess.

This is one of my casusal suit...I have ordered another one a bit more formal that I will receive soon, I will post some pics of this one too so you can see the diffrence..
I went for the Italian Wool 140's thread count, a mix of Wool and silk really like it..

Well start a new thread for this company. This thread has plenty of its own bad suits, we don't need yours

It's out, I'm not impressed. Using Super 100's and 120's and some velvet suits.

Hedonistic Collection. Kind of classy.

Must say I like it, at least the non-velvet suits, but seriously....WHAT THE **** is up with the OJ Simpson gloves??? Seriously.

The velvets are pretty gimmicky, but it is nice to see that they are starting to describe their wools more clearly (Super 120s, ounce weights, etc).

I got the basic black suit. I am new to this and it would be much appreciated if any you can help critique the suit for me.

As you've noted in the SF thread, the pants are obviously too long, and the jacket sleeves could be shortened a bit (1" might be too much, though).

And suits shouldn't be black

Otherwise, it looks pretty decent to me.

Thanks for the tips.
I've added better pictures to the thread.

How come suits shouldn't be black? Too formal?

Black is usually seen in formal wear, rather than suits. When it is seen in suits, it is often associated with musicians, hotel staff, waiters, and young club-goers.

The "classicly-styled gentleman" will opt for a more versatile charcoal, or a dark navy, when selecting a dark suit. Also: always wool, no polyester allowed.

Those are "the rules". However, black suits are popular anyway. So if you like black suits, enjoy!

The suit in navy blue fabric feels very nice, very light compared to my other activities. You can measure yourself with a tape measure, measure a suit that fits you well or take instructions to a tailor and ask him to measure you.

Well, except for funerals. Doesn't hurt to have a black suit in the closet for funerals and other similarly appropriate situations. Oh God, and I just looked at IndoChino's latest suits. The velvet ones are 100% cotton velvet? Not even silk/poly or silk? They might as well be drapes or a cheap throw pillow or something.

I think charcoal is still better for that. Invest in a black grenadine tie if you want some blackness. imho...

What is the problem with cotton velvet? I rather have cotton on me than some poly blend and I don't believe pure silk velvet would fit their price points.

Well take a look at the close up of their velvet fabric in the additional images. Looks like that rough crappy velvet from the craft stores. It doesn't exactly look like a nice luxurious velvet. And while, yeah, 100% silk velvet at probably $200/yard isn't in their range, if you're not going to do a nice-feeling/looking alternative, why bother at all?
