IBP.

I like French cuffs. But I think I dress too casual for them sometimes (suit with brogues for example).

There's not gonna be a pole, is there?

I can don French cuffs only at higher end places I may go, i.e. a really nice resturant (in which you need to be suited up), a theater (say to see the nutcracker), a wedding. I wouldn't wear them to a job interview, networking event, or to work. Well I'd wear them to work if I was a CEO, COO, or CFO of a company in which suiting attire was standard dress code.

I love French cuffs - it's really my preferred opportunity to "accessorize", since I do not wear necklaces, bracelets, rings, Prince Alberts, etc.

I like to wear french cuffs with a v neck sweater and a tie. I dont think FC have to be formalized at all, although a tie is at least for me a requirement.

I knew a guy who bought shorter FC sleeves, and wore them as double barrel shirts. Sprezz.

Not a fan of French cuffs.

Are single cuffs appropriate for black tie?

The cursed lag has defeated my attempt to add a poal.

The cursed lag has really gotten bad. I appears to be happening to me alone. I asked the mods if I had been shoomanned somehow. They denied it. I wonder.

Anyway, it's gotten to the point where the site is down (for me) more than it is viewable. Three times, it's come back for a second, only to time out when I was trying to make this very post. I think that must be a sign from God telling me to get to work.

Sorry about the poal.

Yes, although slightly less formal

I gave up on French cuffs and now get all my shirts with two-button barrel cuffs. Personally, I don't like wearing cuff links and prefer the way two-button barrel cuffs both look and feel under my coat sleeves. The simplicity of barrel cuffs suits my style better. I understand the appeal of French cuffs and think they look good on many people. I just don't prefer them myself.

My two favorite styles of shirts are banded collar and french cuffs. Unfortunatly not a good combination together. Collared shirts with barrel cuffs are the minority in my closet.

Now as to regaurds to the post I prefer french cuffs and would love to see a poll. It would have been nice though to go ahead and start one then to waste our time with this emply post.
