I really like french cuffs, about 95 % of my shirts have such cuffs. I wear them on all occasions, even with jeans. The only time I won't wear them is with shorts, which I rarely use.
Depends where, go to Italy and try to count how many men wear french cuffs then go to the UK.
Is this reasonably easy and inexpensive?
No, they dont slip down. They are almost as tight on the wrist as a normal shirt, 1/4" to 1/2" more play w/ FC.
Some shirt cuffs are snug, the Black Fleece, for example. Look around.
It was for me - I had two shirts needed 1" shortening, and they cost me ten dollars for each shirt.
Sounds great! Do they shorten the sleeves by the shoulder?
Just to be clear, what I meant was the type sometimes called 'single link cuffs', not barrel cuffs.
I love French cuffs - it's really my preferred opportunity to "accessorize", since I do not wear necklaces, bracelets, rings, Prince Alberts, etc.
