    Economizing in the new year, after drinking like a rap star all December. Been drinking on Pilsner Urquells and Miller Lites from the convenience store.

    Taylor Fladgate, vintage porto 2000 last night. 1st time with port outside of using it in cooking. Not sure if I'm a port man.

    Also, enjoyed this year's Anchor Christmas offering, but maybe not quite as good as years past. Married very well w/ Four Roses rocks.

    Mainly, it was a damn delicious rye bomb with vanilla and caramel undertones, which was blended and mellowed by the proper aging. That's about as deep as I can go w/o sounding like a complete twit.

    Its a very good rye, worth trying out if you can find it.
