Old Raj 110 on the rocks with a twist of lime. Very underrated gin. Strong wallop of flavors upfront dying down to reveal more complexity, floral notes and just a touch of heat, but not what one expects from a 55% ABV gin. I think I like this more than Martin Millers Westbourne Strength. Unfortunately, it is much more expensive too.

    London Pride..well it's Premiership day.

I also need to get back to exercising and just read I shouldn't drink 48 hours before I exercise (!?)

I do both virtually everyday. That seems ridiculous to me.

Really? Okay, I just had two shots of whiskey on a patio before going home. That was 3 hours ago - don't know if I should work out now [IMG]

Nice one; have you tried it with tonic water?

Tonight, a couple of ales. Old Speckled Hen and Deuchars IPA - both work well with a single malt so I will probably round off with an Ardbeg

^ Surly makes some good beer. Their Coffee Bender is one of the few coffee stouts I like.

I'm drinking an Fever Tree and Old Raj G&T right now. The power and botanicals of the Old Raj and balanced wonderfully by the citrus of the Fever Tree. Its a very nice combo.

Really one of my very favorite Grappas, provided you mean the Poli.
