I shudder to think how terrible I would look in this, but you make it work. It probably helps that you’re just much fitter and better looking than I am.
Lol.. Thanks a lot for the kind words!
I don't think I am going to do ties with Denim a lot honestly, but it's the kind of look I see a lot in social media and I kept wanting to try it.

So, looking at this outfit, I thought that a navy suede jacket would make it less matchy-matchy while still being able to fit the rest of the colours. So as most anyone would do, I spent a grand on a suede Valstarino to test my logic. I was wrong - the temperature of the navy suede just doesn't go well with the warm brown shoes, ecru jeans and grey rollneck. The whole thing looked off.

But I've been quite excited about the jacket, such a versatile and iconic piece nonetheless, so I kept it and this is the other combo I put together with it:

Worn with Colhay's lambswool crewneck, blue 100 Hands OCBD, W&S trousers in H&S cav twill and EG Piccadillies in mink suede.

I like the combo and its simplicity but I still think there is something off and I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe the mismatch in shade between the jacket and the knitwear? Open to suggestions as always.

Oh, yes, and a little wrist shot.
