Makes sense, thanks! The wash (well, the wear; original wash was dark several years ago) would go better with a less elegant top. Thinking of doing mtm jeans to accommodate cycling thighs if anyone has tips.

Solid combo. Though, I’d throw and button down collared shirt under the sweater to have a little linen show out the top of the sweater. Even if it’s just a sliver. It’s tough to say, either it’ll work or it won’t, depends on the collar of the sweater. That said, it’s already a great outfit as-is.

That’s a great shirt jacket!

This comes down to personal preference, but I’d go slightly longer on the denim can cuff them once for a slightly edgier look. The length as-is ages the look, at least with the sneakers it does. That’s how older folks wear their jeans.

Great mixture of color and texture but I’d throw on an under shirt if I was unbuttoning the shirt that far.

Also, the item are incongruent. It’s either so hot that that you need a linen shirt or so cold/windy/moist that you need a waxed vest. Not both. That’s also why the unbuttoned shirt looks with bare skin looks off. It wouldn’t in the summer wearing the shirt by itself.

The pants look to be linen. Sub for a chino or corduroy and you have a winner.

Like the post above, it’s either so cold that you need a sweater and jacket with heavy textured socks or so warm that you need linen pants - not both.
