I’m not interested in either makeup. I’m actually surprised to see these kinds of makeups from them, you’d expect them from stockists but not them imo. I know bureau did the garnet scout last fall with the hideous (also my opinion lol) 245 Oxford.

Wow. Pretty harsh. People have been complaining about Viberg not really using the 110 last for the past several years now. Shell is not really my thing but it’s cool to finally see a shell makeup that’s not on the 2030 with a brogue cap toe. Thankfully not every release is targeted towards the very same customer.

If anything, I thought I’d be the customer they were targeting being that I’m usually drawn towards the crazier colors/ outsoles. If I didn’t just get those aged bark R/O oxfords from calculus I might’ve considered these.

Do you guys prefer unstructured or partially structured toes? I'm trying to decide between the Lost & Found and Brooklyn Clothing Natty CXL makeups.

I'm leaning towards the unstructured toe as I like the more casual look, but really dislike the bright brass eyelets (and love the dark antique brass on the Lost & Found makeup). Do you think I'd be able to paint them with over with Rustoleum? I read somewhere else that viberg eyelets have like a plastic coating that might make it difficult?

FYI I could be bothered to repaint the eyelets but can't be bothered to bring em to a cobbler and get them all replaced.

Service boots with a captoe I prefer partial structure. Plain toe I'm indifferent and engineers I prefer unstructured.

Have no idea about painting eyelets except to say I've never done it and don't plan on it.

I love the Brooklyn make up. 2030 service boot with an unstructured toe are a thing of beauty. Those brass eyelets will evolve and darken up, and I prefer the plain cap toe vs the L&F brouged version.

Agree. I picked the BC version for these reasons. Still waiting for my BC pre-order (they don't stock 11.5).

Viberg just confirmed via email that they are NOT offering stacked leather midsole on the mini ripple. Any other suggestions, gentlemen?!
Do we know if this is still the case for this MTO? No stacked leather midsole? How about with the foam wedge?
And will anyone be able to post some pics of the sample leathers available at tomorrow's first day MTO? *Especially if there is a color 1071 kangaroo, which I heard there might be*. A photo of that would be much appreciated, as I'm considering proxying based on what it looks like. Thanks!

I think most good repair shops should be able to get their hands on them. I'm sure if you emailed Viberg they could probably help you as well. You might want to consider a different heel as a find they ear down faster than many other offerings.

During the month since I signed up for the MTO I just don't care about getting a pair right now (got two big trips lined up in the next 4 months). So I am honestly driving an hour each way to just get that $100 back. Hope you guys make some cool stuff.
