^ I just handed it off to my tailor, so I‘m getting it made up next. I was just a bit uncertain on which details to get.

I remember you commenting a lot about having a more „dressy“ SC which doesn‘t scream corporate, for wearing out, etc. That was my idea behind this one. It‘s similar to the W.Bill Phoenix (15904/15906) in color, though that‘s a birdeye. The shop had a birdeye in cashmere as well, but I like herringbone so I bought this.

Anyways, I don‘t really follow the SF „rules“ and tend to buy cloth I like when I come across it. I suppose as a result, my commissions aren‘t really planned out so well and I end up with too much stuff. Live and learn I guess.

I understand but I thought you were set on a peak lapel. I usually switch out the cloth if I'm fixated on a particular style and the cloth doesn't fit the bill. I haven't followed style forum convention either and have been happy with most of my commissions. My going out jacket is near completion.

Nah, not particularly set on a PL. My last order for my “2019 fall/winter collection” was a cord suit with peak lapels in Zegna CashCo. Pretty happy how it turned out, except that I had to bring it back for alterations due to my recent weight loss.

I like your coat. What kind of pockets does it have?

It’s the older cloth and not the newer stuff, so I think only around 2% cashmere (technically they should call it CoCash, since it is mostly cotton). So far they are fine but haven‘t worn the suit much.

Gents,

This has taken a while but the samples are finally looking good.

I would like to do a run of Minnis mockleno jacketing 100% wool 300g that is woven in two tones of blue threads of navy and midnight. The result is a dark navy tone that is slightly darker than a standard navy suiting. My best effort photos are attached. ETA before Christmas.

Please PM if you are interested. Thanks!
