Has anyone ever had a suit made out of covert cloth or Venetian twill. I really like the design but wonder if it’s suit material?

I had some trousers made out of covert cloth. We actually reversed it as the pattern was better. Worked well.

Is it tailors chalk? Steam?

No, is permanent ink, that seems to be the end or start of the roll and those are mill codes.

Ask in the laundry, maybe they know of a special chemical to remove it without damage the fabric.

BTW is that Carlo Barbera? I sold several cuts of similar design.

No, It was not Carlo Barbera, it is Fox Flannel in my own design after Agnelli's suit

Well if you like it, why not?
I might just chicken out and get another fresco mohair. Saves me money from buying another bolt. I would really like to get the herringbone mohair that bower Roebuck makes but that don’t sell to public :/
