You'd get more enjoyment out of lighting your money on fire than buying A|X or any crappy designer-for-mall brands

I'm looking for casual boots in the low price area.. something I can wear when I don't want to wear sneaker or If it should look a bit more "special".

Already have clarks db in brown suede, basically I love the desert boot style but the clarks don't like rain and I don't want my next pair of shoes to be DBs again in leather, I want something a bit more special.

Any Ideas?
I really like the 1000 mile boots but they are very expensive (400€ here).

^this, but can be oxfords or bucks or chelseas or anything. just something "nice" and not sneaks. I have DBs, GATs, and GTs. What else should I get?

Recommendations for a boot that I could sneak to work from time to time and wear out? Don't currently own any boots so no worries of duplicates. Also, there seems to be a pretty strong bias against black boots, someone fill me in?

What better way to kick off my first post than in the ultimate noob thread :)

Not particularly a fan of Express, however, I did receive a couple pairs of shorts as a gift a few days ago. Surprise, surprise... they're a bit on the big side, so I need to go in to exchange them. These are the two pairs I received....

There's a good chance they won't have the sizes I'm looking for in these colors, so I might have to exchange them for a different pair. Basically just looking for some opinions on the color/style options available to me, link below...
