fwiw, a two-tone Rolex is a bit more flashy.
But if you wear a stainless Rolex, 99% of the time nobody is going to notice or even look at your wrist (excluding watch AD and mall.) I think it is also safe to assume we all wear long sleeve shirts here. If you see somebody is looking at you. It is probably your shoes, or pocket square.
I agree, the only exceptions have been one person recognizing my Pepsi.I've owned several Rolex watches over the years... Subs, GMT, Explorers 1& 2 and Daytonas....all steel, two tone, and all gold (one WG, one YG). Of the models and metals I've owned the only ones that ever attracted any attention/comments were all steel Daytonas and a yellow gold Daytona that belonged to my Father. I never had any comments with a steel Sub, Explorer 1, 2, SS GMT, or the two tone Sub or two tone Daytona, unless I was in a watch shop.
People tend to over think the entire idea that a Rolex will attract a lot of attention. In all gold sure it will... but in most other metals the average person isn't going to notice or care
Thank you sir.
I do spend more time looking at this back of this more than most.
It does look much better in person when running.
Yes that would be correct.Looks like a sapphire sandwich speedy! beautiful
Yep, I do this with my other watches that have exhibition case backs as well. It's just a bit easier with a manual wind however.one of the reason i enjoy my reverso so much, is that i can flip it and gaze at the movement with ease and at will.

I probably missed it in the thread, but what Reverso do you have Stitch?
Very nice, I never put a Squadra on before. That's the one with the JLC logo on the rotor correct? If so you should reverse it and share the pic, it's only fair.
