Totally agree, and confirmed by Drake's (I was a 44 in 2017/18, and then a 42 in 2019)
I think the tailoring continues to get larger and fuller even since then. I bought a S/S 20 jacket in 38 that fit perfectly after minor alterations. I bought another size 38 jacket from "Collection Three" and it was unwearable--way too big in the chest. Had to return. But worried about going down to size 36, because then it'll likely be too short. Ah, well.

Good to know - I haven't purchased any tailoring in 2020. Fingers crossed for the sale I suppose.

This is what I mean by the shirts possibly being gathered behind the models back, making them appear super-slim.

yeah good spot, I’m not sure anyone, ever, has had a shirt fit like that for long. It would be almost impossible to sit in, eat a croissant in, or slouch into a comfortable chair.
I suppose it makes for a good fit in a photo.

Anyone know if the beanies would fit a larger head well? I know knit hats are a 1 size fits all sort of thing but I know over at NMWA they carry a couple different companies because some run a little small.

Anyone have one and can comment?

I have a fairly large head and own 2 Drake's beanies. They fit very well.

Also have a big head and I think Drake's beanies fit fairly well. If it helps to know, I wear a hat size 7 3/8. I find Drake's beanies to be bigger than Buzz Rickson, but not as big as GRP.

Y'all are great, thanks. My head isn't huge but it is definitely on the larger side. Sounds like these should be fine.

If you're buying one coat this winter, make it this one.

What are peoples opinion between the herringbone vs the glencheck one? Herringbone easier to wear and match?

I prefer the herringbone. More classic. Less loud. Also the plaid one is “taupe?” Not sure about a taupe overcoat. However, I’m also not sure about the unusually bulky pockets on either coat.
