Yeh it’s great. Definitely the stone wash I’d sayCheck out this lookbook if you haven't already, it's my favorite of the season:
A Tweed Story
When it comes to dressing for the colder months, few fabrics do the job quite like tweed. We put this season's tweed jackets in the spotlight, dressed up and down. Photography by Isaac Marley-Morgan.www.drakes.com
I'm fairly certain the jeans the model is wearing are the Stone Wash
Def dig the ecru. I like that it's more of a true cream, less of a pure white. Makes them much more versatile and less showy. Plus they're nice and soft.Anyone dig the ecru jeans? Given how the color looks on the website I would say they are pretty versatile.
I also like how that lookbook pairs the ecru jeans with the glen check tweed sportcoat. Beautiful combo.Anyone dig the ecru jeans? Given how the color looks on the website I would say they are pretty versatile.
I have the Made in England raw denim. Washed them once on cold and they‘ve shrunken about 3cm in length. No apprent shrinkage in thighs etc.Are the 5-pocket selvedge denim jeans sanforized? In general has anyone noticed any drastic shrinking of their Drake's denim? I suppose the newly released washes likely wouldn't shrink much.
Looks like there's a new model featured in some of the stock photos--does this signal that a new collection is forthcoming?
Oh yeah, it says so right there on the websiteI think I click into it via some email they sent (which I deleted already...), so I assume so
Cheaney for Drake's Whiskey Grain Leather Plain Toe Derby Shoe
100% Leather. Made in Northampton, England.www.drakes.com
this is a nice shoe, looks really close to CJ ashdown (which I like a lot), though not sure how they can win with these kind of pricing in the internet era.
I'm like 95% sure with 5 second google I can find a place in UK that ship this ex. VAT and come out like $90~$100 cheaper even with shipping (though return might be a hassle?)
edit: not quite same (in color wise), but I mean a ton out there at better price

10% off with first order. They also have similar models to the Drake's ones.
I think they also throw in free Cheaney shoe trees. That's a pretty good deal.
