I finally saw Spectre last night and I know the brown SC you mean. Bond wore it in the desert scenes. It was linen and fit very nicely.

I don't mind too much the snug fit of the main suit, but the center vent spoils it. I also rather liked the overcoats. My girlfriend liked the blouson Bond wears in the climatic scenes, so I've got to find one like it!

Is this really the same jacket? I did assume it was Tom Ford. I assumed Tom Ford would supply all of the clothing Bond wears for the movie.

Why? None of the previous movies had DC wearing Tom Ford exclusively (there's been stuff from Orlebar Brown, Sunspel, N. Peal, Billy Reid, Barbour and others).

Really, the blue blouson is John Varvatos Star USA. Some Bond fans identified it months ago after the location photos were published.

It went back on sale at johnvarvatos.com yesterday. As of right now only XL and XXL are remaining. The other sizes sold out within hours. You'll have to email their customer service to see what stores will be restocked and have the store mail you one. I know there are at least a couple dozen people who pre-ordered jackets from the London JV store.

Not everything Bond wears is Tom Ford or hideously expensive. Okay, most of it is hideously expensive, but every once in a while an item of clothing is chosen that has nothing to do with product placement.

Caruso have been putting out 'Mao' collared jackets lately, for some reason. Christoph Waltz was very impressive in his role, IMO. I can't wait to see him in the next film.

I thought the suits fit a little better than in Skyfall which looked ridiculous. I'm not a big fan of the center vents on his suits though.
