Serious question, not trolling, but for the guys here who reside in the states, where do you guys buy your C&J shoes from? Any online retailers that you recommend besides Plal & Pediwear? Trying to look for a pair of Belgraves and have been itching to ask.

Lets not forget that Crockett & Jones payed for product placement in Wall Street 2. (Money Never Sleeps)

Once Gordon Gekko managed to get rich again he went straight to C&J's shop in London.

I am SUPER pissed this is happening, for the sole reason that it means there will be less supply to go around.

Gone are the days where you could order any C&J shoe on demand from P. Lal or Bodileys or Pediwear for an excellent discounted price. Shipped right to your door. :(

I bought my first pair of C&J's from P. Lal in 2007. Those were the halcyon days.

    Wall Street 2 too? :censored:

Damnit, C&J, quit increasing the exposure and prestige of your brand.

Well, it's not as if Church's got a lot of exposure for supplying James Bond previously...

RTW seems a bit plebeian for Bond.

If he/MI6 has enough money to afford Tom Ford MTM and Aston Martins, why not go with Cleverly bespoke?

The bottom line is that there is not a mass market for $600+ shoes. All the notoriety in the universe is not going to cause a sudden onslaught of mass market purchasers.

Brioni and Tom Ford were both pretty big names before the Bond movies. (Goldeneye and Quantum, respectively).

I don't think Crockett and Jones will become a household name, but this move will undoubtedly raise the cache of the shoes. They used to be a "hidden gem" brand. I just want to be able to get them on deep discount. :D

Probably they have the mass market in mind as they just promote their benchgrades, there is no handgrade among the cast.

Also no brown in town for Bond.

The brown Islay is in the movie, according to this pic.

Or are you saying that brown is not appropriate for Bond to wear?
