Full pics, full disclosure it's got some issues re: moths but I'm not gonna leave vicuña, so I'll just have to find a project for it. View attachment 904167 View attachment 904169 View attachment 904171
Was about to pull the trigger full retail on a wallet last week decided to wait a few weeks.

Shoulder pleats, pick stitching (presumably machined) and vent buttons abound!
I'm assuming that I picked up a nice coat from a random Italian maker who isn't anyone of note. The faux Pal Zileri brand tag is weird. The five(?) inverted box pleats on the back are a bit unusual as well, especially given that one of them hides a centre vent with a three-button closure on it. To top it all of it's belted in the back.
So city coat in the front, country coat in the back. Did I just buy the sartorial equivalent of a mullet?
Cross-posted to the label thread in case anyone has any ideas on who might have made this.
Wait... That's a dude? I thought that is was some Netflix remake of Punky Brewster.View attachment 904923
Question: How would the forum dads react to someone picking up their daughter at the front door wearing this?
(Random movie reference: I've come for your daughter, Chuck...)
For a long time - that was my barometer
And to be fair, at that age my friends loved cross colors, Jamaroquai hats and flannels that were 3 sizes to big ..
Church's made shoes for McAfee (and eventually bought the brand in the early 90s I think). Ranch Oxhide is the Church's name for buffalo/bison. I have a couple of pairs. Nice shoesLast one from me -
Small e thrift - ranch ox hide (?) mcafees - model macaflex (?)
Fit great - wore today; nice pebbles look.
Never in my life would I think I'd say I'm good on shoes... ( Although...I would like some smooth high polish shells ... Or should I say mortors)
