I commend your loyalty to your employer. If you don’t love what you sell then why are you working there and not HR?

I find it hard to believe that you work at BB

Why would he have to love what he sells in order to work there? It's like saying that the prerequisite to being a mechanic is to love mufflers.

A job to most people is just something they do to get a paycheque.

He didn't attach a picture of his driver's license or passport to his post. Are you really that naive?

He didn't even say anything shocking and/or revealing.

But yeah, BB is garbage now. I have Peal shoes - high quality, and good lasts. The shoes are now made by Aldo, and are not even priced accordingly.
The shoes aren’t currently made by Aldo but they were planning to roll out a new line of shoes made by aldo in the new year. Which is why the shoes were on sale for 40% off before the liquidation sale began. Now they are being sold for 20% off.

I'm completely baffled why BB would turn to Aldo to make some shoes for them. Any shoes. Perhaps I'm totally out of touch, but I tend to think people who shop at BB don't wear Aldo level shoes.

Many years ago, Allen Edmonds, Alden, and some finer English brands made footwear for BB.

I guess things have really changed.

Cause they’re cheaper to produce and the Aldo factory if pushed, can step their game up to make something look and feel nice *enough* to fool the average consumer. The Aldo brooks brothers shoes were going to be priced at close to $800.

$800 for Aldo?????? Wow.

I wouldn't even pay that much for AE. Maybe Alden shell.

I'll just walk over to see Ivor Woolridge and pick up a pair of well made English branded shoes then.

That really blows my mind.

Yeah, idk how they were gonna expect us to sell them. They were definitely not going to have any Aldo branding on them though.
