So we vote for grills, look for grails, know "been had" is from a video, but have no earthly idea where "skeet" really came from, and from seeing the posts about it, now I for one, don't want to know!

Why is Robert Graham called "skeet"

Been Had!

Skeet, as in Skeet rag, Not something that most of these high end guys would consider anything good enough except for rags, EXCEPT that it pays the bills nicely.

edit: Haha. Extremely late to the game. Need to refresh the page. Lol.

God I wish there was a Last Call in MN. Off 5th kind of blows but I still go there because the food court has a chicken sandwich joint that rules.

+1. NM left us but the least they could have done was leave us the discount store like Saks had the courtesy to do. Agreed on the chicken sandwich place. I make it a point to get one each time I hit the outlet mall.

The votes are in and counted. While there have been no final counts given, we finally have the results.

Seems shady that they hid the voting tallies the last day.

Didn't the whole skeet thing come about when I tried buying the Barbour jacket off the guy and he said it was in too bad of condition and was going to turn it into an ammo bag. After everyone had fun with this, iirc someone chimed in they found a Kiton and it wasn't available, they were going to turn into **** rag. I think skeet was brought up then later attached to the RG shirts.

The thrift gods have seen fit to extend their benevolence!

The last 24 hours:

The handsome chocolate brown w/ teal windowpane fabric caught my eye...

As did this awfully distinctive Made in Italy tag

Confirmed by a smidge of ebay research: Brioni! Older for sure, but wool/cash and in good shape save for some wrinkles. Available.

From there, it was all blues:

There's just something about a navy blazer from Brooks Brothers.

All cashmere :)

Ventless, missing some buttons (the rest are MOP), and in need of some stitching along the bottom. A project, but fits me nicely. NA

Another tradly number, this time by Southwick

Wool flannel, half lined. In great shape. ~44, available

For Paul Stuart? Double the ebay dragnet!

This next find is almost certainly an orphan, but...

Loro super 100s, subtle check pattern

Pop! I've heard some good things about this maker, no experience with it before this though.

Quality is certainly there; lots of pick stitching and handwork, surgeons cuffs, etc.

Picked this out of a whole mess of Canali suits/sportcoats that were either too dated or OP to bother with (am I ******* up? Canali doesn't seem to do great on the bay)

Nothing special (and maybe an orphan) but I like the lapels, and its dual exhaust, so I took chance. 44, available.

A couple shirts in summer fabrics: club monaco linen/cotton, PRL white linen bd. Both of these were priced way down from usual RL/recognizable mall brand ****; PRL shirts typically go for 10-12 at my local savers and this one was only 3. Huh. PRL is XL, and available.

To round things out a couple Bob Talbots and beautiful pair of Ermengildo Zegna braces.

Seriously nice.
