I saw the trailer last night before I Am Legend and this looks a lot better than LWW.
Looks like it will have more fantasy battles and that type of stuff as they really won't have to explain and believe in and come to find Narnia. They can just get right into it.

Though I will say that Tilda as the Ice Witch Queen is one awesome chica that'll be missed.

I had really been looking forward to the first one but it was a bit meh. The cgi wasn't very good either, and that kind of ruined it. The little girl was also pretty annoying.

I don't know. I'm a bit tired of these movies. Plot: A poor English boy and/or girl goes off to live with his and/or her well to do Aunt/Uncle in the countryside. They are mostly ignored and left to explore the sprawling grounds. They discover a book/gateway to a magical land where a war rages between good and evil. They are special kids - perhaps destined or foretold in the magical land - and fight on the side of good. Good triumphs over evil in an allegory of Jesus fighting for the allies in WWII. I call it The Terabethia Chronicles of Pan Potter: Stardust Compass to Spiderwick.

Thanks for the link. The first movie stuck to the book to an amazing degree. I wonder how much this episode will stick to it?

Looks awesome.

On a side note, C.S. Lewis' book A Grief Observed is one of the most intense books I've ever read. It's tough to get through, but really interesting. He basically tears down his faith and then rebuilds it after the death of his wife from bone cancer. Really thought provoking.

Trailer looks great! Can't wait to see this. The only book I really remember was Lion,Witch...I vaguely remember bits of Prince Caspian and can't remember anything about Dawn Treader, Silver Chair etc.

So what's the allegory in this one? The first is clearly Jesus forgiving our sins and rising from the dead. Who's Prince Caspian?
