Alright, GMTO Tan Dublin Long Branch boots (quick photos in artificial light)...









Beside my CXL Long Branch in dark brown.

I'm very pleased with these. I really like the more refined sole treatment.

How did I completely miss this GMTO?? I would've definitely jumped on a pair. They look great!

So, I'm not crazy about the color of the fat brown laces with the Tan Dublin. I'll save the red laces for Christmas.

Here are two possibilities from my collection. I normally prefer contrast between the shoe and the laces, but this time, I'm going to try the lighter laces for a while.




Here's a better shot of the sole treatment. Very nice!

I like the lighter laces. I might grab a pair myself. I definitely prefer the dark brown laces to the red ones though.

Laces for the tan Dublin were a crap shoot. They didn't really seem to have anything else when I asked Allison. I figured they are a cheap and easy thing to sub out at any rate.

No complaints at all, @mry8s ! You did a fabulous job on these. Also, I needed those fat brown laces for another pair of Long Branches.

I like the lighter laces. I might grab a pair myself. I definitely prefer the dark brown laces to the red ones though.

For those interested in the lighter laces on the GMTO Long Branch boots, they are from TZ Laces. They are "Strong 3/16" 5mm Flat Waxed Shoe, Boot Laces", 55" long (AE's laces are 50" long) in Tan/ Light Brown. You can get them directly from TZ Laces or on Amazon.

The darker laces are from Shoe Laces Express.

Yes these AE single MTOs by Kahuna and yes those are badlands GMTO at $199

The anniversary sale is just around the corner. I'm sure lots of GMTOs will be again available.

Another pair of Dublin LB's just landed. A little lighter than I thought but I'm sure my son will love them.

I'd kill for a MacNeil in this leather.
