I love the shirts but really wish they came with spare buttons. I have four shirts that aren't very old, but three of them have lost a button. I have some free replacements on the way from TS, but 75% of my TS shirts are out of service while I wait.

Thanks guys for your kind feedback regarding the standard issue chinos-- we'll really thrilled that the first Workshop product is being well-received by our guys. It's the right fabric with the right construction with the right price and ethical pedigree, so we're pretty happy with the results.

For everyone with sizing concerns / concerns regarding inaccurate size charts -- The maritime vest's sizing chart should be totally accurate to the patterns from the factory. We're working on improving size charts for our pants and shirts. Pants are really the big culprit; shirts tend to be consistent aside from different materials, which is why shirts like the Yosemite shirts and the Fair Ends denim / olive twill can seem a little different. We went back and made sure that those items were on-spec; the denim does run a hair small, but I still recommend everyone take their true size unless they're already pushing the upper end of it.

YES. This sounds like a genius idea.

Absolutely-- I actually just floated the idea of stitching a few extra buttons on the inside of the placket like basically every other shirtmaker on the planet Earth in response to your suggestion. It might be something that we start doing with the next batch of shirts.

So just grabbed the vest in both the navy and gray. Couldn't decide which color to get, and really it was an easy decision. I got the brushed twill shirts in this Monday, and definitely wish I'd bought my previous shirts in a 40 instead of a 38 with how much everything has tightened up post-washing (with the exception of my indigo star jack, which stayed put more or less).

For pants, I have to say, I don't think any of the TS pants have ever been what I'd call TTS. I'm a 32.5" true flat waist. In the chore pants I wear a 30 (despite the measurement charts, every single pair, both new and old style, has measured about 32-33" in the waist). In the denim, trying those on, I'm a 29. Now a 30 is what I wear in most store brands of course, but that's not the same as true to size.

Currently on their way for me from TS via the workshop:
2x Red Yosemite
1x Gray Yosemite
1x Blue Yosemite
1x Indigo Chore Pants
1x Ash Maritime Vest
1x Navy Maritime Vest

I now have 5 chore pants, 1 maritime jacket, two brushed twill jacks, 1 indigo jacks. Retired for being, unfortunately, too small in retrospect: 2 of the canvas shirts, 1 red yosemite. I don't have any oxford jacks because oxfords get ruined/stained/torn for me, so I go down the price spectrum to BB OCDBs, which have a great fit and which I churn through at a rate of 3-4 a year.

All told, easily my favorite menswear brand, both in materials and design.

I'm cautious because of sizing issues. Looks like I'd need a 38 in the chest but a 40 for the length. Any 6'4"+ people own one?

I find that the length on all TS shirts is a bit off, the back is too long and the front too short. I have the navy brushed twill jack and a 38 fits me fine across the chest and shoulders but its a bit too short in the front. I'm 5'11 btw. I washed them on a gentle cycle with woolite and tumble dried them, not much shrinkage. The quality of the shirts is amazing though, very soft and thick material.

At 5'9", I find that a 38 fits me almost perfectly in the length, which is one of the reasons why I like Taylor Stitch off the rack shirts. If you're 6'4", I'd imagine a 38 would be quite short. Are you in the U.S.? If so, you could try both out with free shipping both ways.

I've got 5 inches on you and it appears we're about the same in the chest.

Those twills looks real nice too. Too bad.

I'm 5'7" and the 36 is a great length - any longer and I couldn't wear them untucked.

What do you mean by "too small"? Which areas?
