The outlet terms and conditions page is now the 3rd or 4th result on Google, which means the terms "suitsupply outlet" has been queried, and with results clicked on quite a bit in the last couple of weeks or so.

Wow I didn't know the separate trousers had different sizing than suits. I wear a 42 in suitsupply's suits so that's what I order my pants in and they're all way too big!

I don't get it. You're not saying that you wear a size 42 suit and then ordered size 42 trousers, did you? A size 42 suit (42 being a reference to your chest size) typically comes with size 36 trousers (36 being the waist size). I must be misunderstanding since there is no way you could have gone on this long and made this mistake...

Im looking to buy my first blazer, which of the SuitSupply blazers are most suitable to be my first?

Free delivery and free returns are a huge advantage, so I want to go with SS.

I was looking at this one, is it a good choice?

Thanks!

The Havana is a good place to start - natural shoulders and a very comfortable fit. Not as informal as the Hudson, which runs slimmer.

I'd say that's a good first blazer to go with. No need to go with anything loud or crazy.

I think I understand the mistake he made. When you look at a complete suit the sizing for pants all the way to the left retains the same size as the suit (obviously the thing to look at would be the waist dimensions among other things). When ordered as separates the sizing of the pants is back to normal so it is necessary to pay attention to the waist size measurement you've been getting to be sure you aren't ordering wrong. Yes it should be some what obvious but I see how someone newish to shopping for clothes might make this mistake.

i have this jacket and love it, but would note that the fabric is a bit of a looser weave than might be considered "classic" for a blazer. the loose weave and very little lining make it very breathable and it's great for warmer weather, but it might look a little more casual and be subject to snags if not handled carefully.

i'd say go ahead and order it and see if you like it. nothing to lose. it's a dope jacket.

It doesn't look too much like an orphaned suit jacket?

i didn't really think so because of the weave and patch pockets, but i guess it might depend who you're asking. might have that problem with a lot of solid navy jackets that don't have blazer buttons (which i guess you could add). regardless, it looks good as an odd jacket with lighter-colored pants.
