Hi Everyone!

I'm looking to buy my first Suitsupply suit soon, and am having a real blunder deciding on size. Based on the earlier posts I've seen, I'm nervous to trust the size adviser or measurement charts. I was wondering if I could possibly get some advice from all of you who have had more experience. Unfortunately I don't have the means to buy more than one and return the other, and I would have to make a day trip out of going down to NYC to try them on (though I might anyway.)

Anyway, I'm 5'8" and about 141lbs., with a thin-muscular frame. Shoulders on the narrow, sloping side. Shorter than average arms. Longer than average torso. I wear a 36s with some sleeve tailoring, and a 29 trouser waist.

I had my eyes on a Lazio or Havana. I'd prefer to not get anything with very structured shoulders.

Anything I should know/ a better size to order than a 36s? Thank you so much, everyone!

In my experience SuSu fits relatively true-to-size. But if you're able to make a day trip out of it, I'd strongly suggest visiting the store to find out for yourself, because there are definitely exceptions to that rule.

You could also consider the Sienna, which has no padding in the shoulders and is nicer than both the Havana and the Lazio in my opinion.

What I don't like about the Sienna is the adding of ticket pocket. For me it just ruins the symmetry of the jacket/suit.

I don't know about US, but here in Europe, outlet is already closed, one week after its opening last week.

I'm just curious, do you not like the breast pocket either? Suit jackets are inherently asymmetrical.

You're right. It does look like a Havana. What I don't like about the cut is the high button stance and slimmer lapels. Although in this photo, the lapels look ok.

I have Lazios and one S&M slim fit in the same size. They fit similarly. The fabric is obviously nicer with Suitsupply. The Lazio is also less structured, which I like. Both are great values for the money.
