Oh man. A real gut-buster tonight.

We're watching the Republican debate and started to discuss the issue of abortion. I gave him my stance, and he gave me his:

"Well, y'know, my family is Christian so we're generally opposed to abortion. But if da baby is conjoined, or is mentally marsupialed or is missing a limb, it's OK to abort it.

Does anyone remember when Conne became the (albeit goodnatured) punching bag of the forum? I remember when he joined as a callow, if a wee bit affected, student, and with remarkable speed he became our class clown or something.

Anyone recall the turning point? I'm not trying to pick on you Conne, because you must be as aware of it as anyone.

Honestly, I don't really remember when the "turning point" was.

The only thing my avatar should reinforce is the notion that Patti LuPone is a goddess.

I think it happened after the Kabbaz incident. I may be wrong though.

I think it's when he became the Andy Dick of the forum...

I seem to recall the turning point being after a number of posts he typed while obviously under the influence, followed shortly by a video of him (I haven't seen it yet) in his underwear singing "Proud Mary". That would pretty much do it for anyone. He takes the abuse pretty well, which I think is a sign of admirable confidence and good humor.

I think the Kabbaz incident set the groundwork. The Proud Mary incident turned him into more "clown" than "pariah".

To your dismay, I am fully clothed in the Proud Mary video.
