1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

First shot at dressing like Roycru with an AAS twist. Monochromatic browns, fair isle sweater, BB OCBD, argyle socks, AE shoes.

I really need to frequent the CM WAYWRN just to catch these Roycru photos and posts. Probably some other good stuff in there too... ;)

Ultimately I voted for Cox, but frontrunner Mr. Knightley made it tough call.

It’s a hard one to judge since there are so many variables. Best outfit in the abstract? Outfit stylistically closest to Roycru’s? Most amusing story? Most informative story? Some weighted combination?

I voted for more than one, despite the relatively small field.

In any event, it was a fun challenge. Thanks, AAC.

    Cheers,

    Ac

    Congrats, Mr Knightley. Well-deserved. [IMG]

Ac’s choice, most informative story: Mr Knightley
Ac’s choice, most amusing story: Coxsackie
    Ac’s choice, favorite outfit: AAC
Ac’s Thespian Award for the bravest attempt at the impossible task of imitating Roycru’s (non-)expression: upr_crust

So what’s next, Mr Knightley? It’s your call, of course. I do hope at some point that someone will do a herringbone challenge.

    Cheers,

    Ac

    Thank you gentlemen!

It was an interesting Challenge and a number of quite different approaches. I think AAS hinted at the outset that it would be fairly simple to 'Be like Roycru' but I wonder how the man himself feels that we did...

I was thinking of something festive for next time but do like the herringbone proposal from Ac. Whatever we go for I think I may need some help as I have not been in this position before!

Since you asked, I think that you all know that I like everyone who takes the time and trouble to post pictures of what they are wearing.

As to those who make bizarre comments about what others are wearing, but never post pictures of what they are wearing, I am sharing M. RoSaCE's picture of them......

very honoured to be quoted by you @Roycru , thank you very much.
I'm pretty sure everyone speaks french here, but for the others, the guy is saying: "Hell no! You can not wear black socks with brown shoes, this is totally a fashion lapse! Red card man! "
